A wonderful and captivating children’s book that deals with a highly important issue occupying the minds of so many children: the need to be like everyone else.

Aryeh Ben-Naim doesn’t like his name anymore.

All the kids around him have regular names, and only he has the name of an eighty-year-old grandfather. It isn’t a nice feeling.

So his grandfather, whose name is also Aryeh Ben-Naim, takes him on a journey to acquaint him with his roots and all the Aryehs of the family: Aryeh Ben-Naim the ship captain, Aryeh Ben-Naim the boxer, and all the other Aryehs who kept his special name.

“A wonderful and captivating children’s book that deals with a highly important issue occupying the minds of so many children: the need to be like everyone else. My daughter enjoyed the book immensely, loved Aryeh and identified with him. We loved Shahar Kober’s illustrations, which are colorful and dazzling, and I am certain that it will continue to accompany us along the way, as it is a book that I find important to read to my daughter.”
– Noa Holtzer, The Book Parliament

“The book is free-flowing and rhymed, and manages to elegantly tackle subjects such as being different and self-acceptance, as well as the importance of our family lineage. The illustrations by award-winning illustrator Shahar Kober abound in humor and expression, and this book can easily join the excellent book collection he already boasts.”
– Maya Maytav, YNET, news website

The illustrations in the book are full of humor and complement the text wonderfully. It is a joy to read to children and adults alike.” – Meira Barnea Goldberg, Mako, news bebsite
