Merav Shaul
I am the chief publisher and editor of Asia Publishers, an independent publishing house which since its foundation in the year 2000 has specialized in publishing high-quality literary works of various genres, as well as co-founder of Assia Literary Agency.
Merav holds a BA from the Faculty of Humanities at Tel Aviv University and an MA from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

I co-founded Assia Literary Agency following two decades of experience in the literary field as an editor. Fueled by a great passion for the art of writing and illustration, and a true will to expose Israel’s powerful artistic imagination and unique points of view, I genuinely take great pleasure in helping to bring works we represent to readers throughout the world. With each and every book published in any foreign langauge, I am excited anew, and my passion is fulfilled.
Vered holds a BA in Literature and Philosophy, an MA in Literature, and a PhD in Theory and Criticism from the Cultural Studies Department at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
